No. If you take the online course, everything happens from home, including your 1-hour video call with Happy Still. Only the in-person class is at Fort Wilkins.

Every lesson with video, text and tools, a quiz, a certificate signed by Happy Still, lifetime access (new lessons are free), and a 1-hour one-on-one video call with Happy Still. Premium adds a $250 gift card or the 3-gallon copper mini still.

After you buy, log in and pick a time that works for you. Calls are open 7 days a week, noon to 8 PM Eastern. Happy Still calls you on video, one on one, and you can ask him anything. You get a reminder text the day before.

No. We start from zero.

New Hampshire allows hobby distilling for personal use. Federal law is different. The course covers the law, permits and safety in plain English, and our Legal page has the current status. In an in-person class we distill for demonstration and discard it.
